For this inspiration shoot, we wanted to create a mini world with the warmth of summer and nods to child-like favorites. The table was set for a brunch style soiree with bright colored fruits and smoothie bowls, sugar waffle sweets and chocolate spoons ready to stir in milk! We wanted everything on the table to feel fun and inviting from the mint trays full of fare to the edible flowers in the milk glasses.
From the start, we knew we wanted to use ice cream cones as the vessels for the florals. Over the table, on the table as a alternative to one centerpiece and mainly, as the base of the bridal bouquet. Faye + Renee matched our vision so perfect with the colors and flower types to pop out of each cone like a ice cream flavor.
Cake Life Bake Shop created bright colored desserts with fanciful details to compliment the colors of the florals and table. Like a sweet shop with burst of color that make you have to take a bite. Ashe & B Co. provided the sherbet colored dress WITH pockets to bring in the summer vibe and Faye + Renee added a playful floral arm cuff.
Like most of our inspiration shoots, we feel it is important to use the opportunity to support and promote pet adoption. For this shoot we partnered with the local pet adoption agency to the venue, The Animal Alliance of NJ to try and find homes for six, four-week old hound mix puppies. They stole our afternoon, that is for sure.
All the vendors joined us on site for the whole shoot and it became a picnic hang out, rolling on the grass in the sun with puppies eating dragon fruit. An unreal, super fun, magical day. Perhaps it was easy because Brookmill provides such a breathtaking landscape. I Included a short video from our set up as well.
